Master Award for Rockside 11 – Best Islay, Up to 12 Years

At The Spirits Business Scotch Whisky Masters 2026, Rockside 11 Years Old received the Master Award, naming it the Best Islay, up to 12 years. Machir Bay and Batch Strength were each awarded Gold, while Sanaig received Silver.

Rockside 11 Years Old is the latest addition to our core range and marks the first age-statement whisky to join the permanent collection. Alongside established expressions Machir Bay, Sanaig and Batch Strength, the awards reflect the quality and character of our range, each offering its own distinctive character.

There was also success at the International Spirits Challenge 2026, where both Batch Strength and Sanaig were awarded Gold medals.

In Germany, Kilchoman was also named Best Whisky Distillery at the Botschafter Awards.

Cognac Cask Matured 2026

While many distilleries use Cognac casks to finish their whisky, Kilchoman goes further. This release has spent the full-term of its maturation in ex-Cognac barriques, allowing the French oak to fully express itself.
