Sanaig Cask Strength 2026

October 12, 2026

Back, this time at 57.5% abv, Sanaig Cask Strength is the embodiment of a powerful sherry matured Islay single malt. A whisky for those who enjoy big flavours. You will be familiar with Sanaig, our core range release, bottled at 46%. Sanaig Cask Strength follows the same cask recipe; predominantly sherry casks. However, rather than adding water to reduce the strength to 46%, the Cask Strength expression is bottled without dilution. The result is a bottling strength of 57.5% abv.

Sanaig is a combination of both oloroso sherry hogshead finishes and fully matured casks. These casks, sourced directly from Bodega José y Miguel Martín in Jerez, display their full impact on our whisky at natural cask strength. Expect a weighty dram packed full of rich dark fruits and mouth-watering barbequed smoke.

“Cask strength whiskies have a magic about them. They have an ability to surprise you, to deliver flavour in a way which is entirely unexpected.” Anthony Wills, Kilchoman Founder & Managing Director.

The Sanaig Cask Strength (70cl, 57.5% vol.) will be available across the UK and Europe from this week. Click here to purchase the Sanaig Cask Strength from our online shop, or for more information on where to find this release, please email info@kilchomandistillery.com.
