“Everyone at Kilchoman is immensely sad to hear of Jim’s death.

One of the best bits of advice I had when setting up the distillery was to get Jim involved. I knew the style of whisky I wanted to produce and thought I knew the problems I was going to face but I’m not sure I would have succeeded without Jim’s wealth of knowledge. He designed our stills, was always available to assure me that I was doing a good job and giving me the confidence I needed in those early days. He was here during the first spirit runs and on trying the spirit, he smiled and said ‘if you look after this you could bottle it after 3 years’ and we haven’t looked back since.
Jim’s continued support has played a massive part in Kilchoman’s success and I will always be very grateful for his contribution. Quiet, unassuming and irreplaceable, he became a dear friend to the Kilchoman family.”

Shipments to the UK

All shipments to the UK are sold inclusive of UK VAT and duties. The total cost you see at checkout includes all applicable taxes and fees, so you will not be asked to pay any additional charges upon delivery.

Shipments to the EU

For orders being shipped to the EU, local VAT will be calculated during checkout. These shipments are sent using a Duties and Taxes Paid (DDP) service, meaning no additional charges will be due upon delivery.

If you are contacted by our courier requesting payment, please disregard the message and do not make any payment. Instead, contact us directly and we will work with the courier to resolve the issue.

*Please note exception of Estonia and Finland which are shipped on a tax and duties unpaid service. Please see more guidance below.

Shipments Outside the UK and EU

Orders shipped to locations outside the UK and EU are dispatched on a tax and duties unpaid service. This means that any applicable taxes, duties, and fees will need to be paid directly to customs prior to delivery. These charges are not collected at checkout.
