Kilchoman Family Collection – First Edition

Discovered in the quiet corners of our warehouses, the Kilchoman Family Collection casks are selected during the Wills’ annual review of maturing stock. Each release is selected individually by the five members of Kilchoman’s founding family, bringing together distinctive choices that reflect their personal tastes, shared passion, and the developing character of Kilchoman.
The first edition of the Kilchoman Family Collection features four expressions, headlined by a 20 year old, the oldest general release Kilchoman to date. The collection showcases the evolving influence of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks as Kilchoman reaches more significant age statements.
Among the releases is a 14-year-old Rockside Barley expression, distilled in 2011 from barley grown and malted on-site at Kilchoman, and peated to 20ppm.
The remaining expressions, aged 11, 18, and 20 years old, were produced using heavily peated barley (50ppm) sourced from Islay’s Port Ellen Maltings, offering a contrasting style that reflects Kilchoman’s traditional peat profile.

The first edition of the Kilchoman Family Collection will be exclusively available from our retail partners in the UK and overseas. Unfortunately, due to the limited number of bottles, the Kilchoman Family Collection will not be available directly from the Kilchoman website.
