2023 Club Release – Twelfth Edition

This year Anthony and Robin have selected casks 1110 and 1101 of 2016. Initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels, this whisky was then finished for 14 months in ex-Blanc de Blancs wine casks before being bottled at cask strength, 54.1% abv. There have only been a handful of single casks released to date with Blanc de Blancs influence, an experiment that we think you’ll agree has worked extremely well!
Blanc de Blancs is the name given to sparkling wines from a world-famous winemaking region in France produced entirely from white grapes, most commonly Chardonnay. These wines are known for their minerality and freshness, matching perfectly with the citrus sweetness and maritime peat smoke that characterises Kilchoman.
