15 Year Old Single Cask

This single cask has been produced with 50ppm peated malt, then matured in a fresh bourbon barrel for over fifteen years. At 15 years of age the fresh bourbon barrel maturation has started to impact the whisky significantly, softening some of the youthful peat notes and bringing forward both citrus and tropical fruits with a lasting butterscotch sweetness.
