Location

The Island of Islay lies off the west coast of Scotland and is the most southerly of the Hebridean islands. It is famous for its malt whisky distilleries, but also boasts wonderful flora and fauna, a paradise for birds and wildlife, miles of beautiful sandy beaches, as well as an 18 hole championship golf course.

Islay is a diamond-shaped island measuring approximately 25 miles north to south and 20 miles east to west and has a population of 3,000. It is a magical place with outstanding appeal to all visitors, once you arrive by either plane or ferry you will find it hard not to keep coming back time after time.
