

Kilchoman Distillery is delighted to have been able to support "The Barnard Challenge" the main beneficiary of which will be the charity "Spirit Aid " which has been set up by top Scottish actor and whisky fan David Hayman .
The Barnard Challenge commemorates the epic journey undertaken by Alfred Barnard 125 years ago when he visited every distillery in Scotland, England , Ireland and Wales and the book he published detailing his travels.
Kilchoman was visited by Paul Sneddon aka Vladimir McTavish one of Scotlands top comedians on a bottle collecting trip , these bottles will be sold at auction to raise funds for the charity. He is shown above accepting a bottle of Kilchoman from manager John Mac Lellan, please note the comedian is on the left of picture.
Vladimir is currently appearing at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in his one-man show "Whisky : An Idiots Guide" which he also hopes to bring to Islay next year as part of the Islay Whisky Festival.
