The scene this afternoon at Bowmore Pier as storms lash Islay . We have had storm force winds since early morning . This with low temperatures , driving wind and hail showers has been making life a little difficult.

Kilchoman fans need not worry however as the stills are running on the last distillation of 2011. This will be a record year for production at Islays newest distillery with the last of the years spirit due to be casked tomorrow.
