General Manager March 4th 2010
We are delighted to announce that John MacLellan will be joining us as General Manager. John has worked in the whisky industry for over 20 years and for the past 12 years he has been the manager at Bunnahabhain, so brings with him lots of experience. He starts on the 3rd of May and will be responsible for the day to day running of the business, freeing Anthony up to concentrate on developing sales around the world.

Where does Kilchoman collect the spring water for reducing the whisky? March 24th 2010
The water used for reducing our whisky to bottling stength comes from Andrew and Neil Wood's farm Octofad Farm on the Rhinns of Islay.

The water is collected in 1000 litre transit tanks before being taken to Bruichladdich Distillery where it is used to reduce our whisky to 46% strength before being bottled. The Spring water on Islay is very soft and pure and goes particularly well with the whisky.
