In the December /January issue of the Whisky Magazine,  the 'Inaugural release' was given a  recommended tag.

Martine Nouet commented that the 'Inagural release was an enticing dram, with a soft and tender malty heart. The dram that takes you to the shores on a mild winter day' Martine awarded the new release with 8.6 points

Rob Allanson described the nose as being 'Peat at the front,  A massive wallop of seashores, coal dust and fence posts. And on the palate ' Underneath the peat lie fresh oranges and a sweet heart to, the finish is very short and crisp. Rob awarded the 3 year old single malt 8.2.

Kilchoman are also selling their 'Autumn release'  at the moment, it is available on the distillery website and also from the retailers listed on the single malt page.
