With only a few seats to spare Anthony introduced Kilchoman to a  enthusiastic crowd during his presentation.

You will see from the pictures that Whisky live in Japan was as busy as ever, the one day event attracted 4500 people.

Anthony also travelled to Kyoto and Osaka visiting bars and customers, before travelling on to New Zealand. ( pictures to hopefully follow next week)

Anthony would like to thank everyone who assisted him and helped to make his trip a success, and looks forward to seeing you again soon.

General Distillery tours - Will be available during the week from Monday to saturday at 11am and 3pm.

 

 

Managers Tour – Monday 25^th to Friday 29^th @ 9.30am

 

Take a tour and tasting in the warehouse with Malcolm Rennie.

 

Cost - £15.00 per person

 

EXCLUSIVE

 

During Feis Ile people will be given the opportunity to reserve a bottle of our first malt release, which will be available from September 2009.  This is a special offer to those who visit the distillery.

 

 

 

Kilchoman Distillery Open Day Thursday the 28^th of May 2009

 

 

9.30am - Managers Tour as above ( no available spaces)

 

10.30/11.15am - General Distillery tours (cost £3.50 per person)

 

11.30 – Bar and BBQ.  The café will also be open serving teas/coffee and homemade cakes.

 

12.30am – AUCTION OF THE FIRST AND ONLY BOTTLE OF SINGLE MALT FROM KILCHOMAN

 

This is an exclusive bottling from the very first cask filled at the distillery (14^th of December 2005).  This unique bottle will come with its own design, never to be repeated. More details to follow.

 

 

2.30pm – Talk and Tasting with Dr Jim Swan

 

Join Jim in our warehouse where you will get the chance to taste various expressions of Kilchoman form spirit to malt.

 

Cost - £20 per person (limited spaces available, booking in advance advisable)

 

3.30pm – Managers tour as above ( please book to avoid disappointment)
