INAUGURAL RELEASE

Strength: 46%ABV

Cask variety: Fresh  Bourbon barrels for 3 years and finished in oloroso sherry butts for 5 months.

Colour: Rich, medium straw

Nose: Wood smoke and medicinal flavours, Rich dark fruits then light citrus lemon and orange

Palate: Remarkably viscous, peat smoke with dark fruits sultanas and creamy toffee.  It has a long finish, eventually the peat recovers,leaving a clean lingering aftertaste.

AUTUMN 2009 RELEASE

Strength: 46%ABV

Cask variety: Fresh Bourbon barrels for 3 years and finished for 3 months in oloroso sherry butts. One 3 year old refill bourbon barrel was added to the vatting.

Colour: Rich, Medium straw

Nose: Strong peaty aromas, wood smoke and medicinal flavours. Rich dark fruits and orange.

Palate: Remarkably viscous, peat smoke with dark fruits, hints of marmalade  and creamy toffee.  It has a long finish, eventually the peat recovers, leaving a clean lingering aftertaste.
